But sometimes we should try some offbeats places which are situated in many states of India. These places are not only beautiful but also attractive for every wander thruster.   • Mcleod Ganj:- Mcleod Ganj is situated in the upper region of  Dharamshala of Kangra District. It is a land of  Dalai Lama. Only 9 km away from Dharamshala and 238 km away from Shimla, Mcleod Ganj has its own flavor of natural beauty. You can easily plan a trip for a couple of days for it. This place enriched with Buddhist  Monastery, Tibetan Institutions, Tibetian culture, and arts. The best time to plan a trip at Mcleod Ganj is March to June and September to November. Mcleod Ganj is connected by bus road with  Delhi, Shimla, Pathankot, Kullu. The nearest airport is Gaggal Airport which is situated at Dharamshala, 20km away from Mcleod Ganj. And the nearest railway station is Pathankot which is 90km away. It receives trains from Ahmedabad, Dehli, Mumbai, Katra, Amritsar, Haridwar, and so on.

  • Coorg:-  Coorg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in India. It is called the "Scotland of South India". Coong is situated in Karnataka state and surrounded by hills and greenery which is quite attractive for all travel lovers people. This place is heavily rich with ancient heritage and religious monuments. It was inhabited by many dynasties like Kadamba, Hoysala, Vijayanagara, and Chola. The weather in Coorg throughout the year is pretty cool. But the best period for a visit between October to March. Some popular spots of Coorg are Nagarhole National Park, Bagamandala, Tadavendamal, and Omkareshwara Temple. Besides these, there has many tea and caffeine garden valley and falls.   • Khajjiar:- Khajjiar is a small town of Himachal Pradesh which often called the " Mini Switzerland of India". This tiny town is surrounded by snow-laden mountains, dense forests, lakes, and beautiful landscapes that will lead to another world. In spite of a small town, Khajjiar is a complete package of adventure, nature, wildlife, and culture. The best attractions of Khajjiar are Khajjiar Lake, Khajji Nag Temple, Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary. Besides these, you can visit Khajjiar villages which are hidden in forests and mountains. Khajjiar is easily accessible. The nearest airport is Kangra Airport is 126km away and the nearest railway station is Pathankot which is 96km away from Khajjiar.   • Ziro:-  Ziro, located in the Subansiri District of Arunachal Pradesh, is a world heritage site for few years. Surrounded by rice fields and small tribal villages, Ziro has its own natural beauty. All over the year, the weather of Ziro is cool. But the best time for a visit is from February to October. The top attractions of Ziro are Kile Pakho, Apatani Village, farming, Tarin Fish Farm,  Shiva Lingam at Kardo Forest, Paddy cum Fish, and Taley Wildlife Sanctuary. The nearest railway station and airport is Tezpur which is 300km away from Ziro. Buses are available from Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. 

  • Barot:- Barot can be a dream place for every trekking lover. This beautiful hill station is situated in Himachal  Pradesh's Mandi district. Located at the bank of Uhl river and surrounded by thick pine forests and high mountains, Barot easily attracts any kind of traveler. Barot is famous for Trout Fish. There have many fish breeding farms. Barot is also a part of Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary which is home of Himalayan  Black Bear, Ghoral, and others. The best attractions in this place are the Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary, Mandi Town, Devidarh Prasher Lake, Barot Temple, Chuhar Valley, and a couple of lakes. besides these, there have many things to do like camping, fishing, and trekking. Throughout the years Barot's weather is pleasant. But the best time for visiting Barot is from April to August. Barot is well connected by roads as it is 20km away from NH20 and private buses are also available from Mandi, Jogindernagar, and Palampur. The nearest railway station is Pathankot. And the closest airport is Gaggal Airport.
